Cambodia Day 1

Touched down in Siem Reap as early as 8 in the morning.

Were welcomed at the airport by our driver from the guesthouse with his tuk-tuk. Man, this is a much remote country from what I'd in mind before this. The roads weren't in good conditions and traffics were chaotic.

The guesthouse actually prepared a tour around Siem Reap for us, including The Angkor which saved a lots of hard work to be honest.

Floating village.

Kids younger than him work too.

that's Tonle Sap in front.
the orphanage school.

we bought notebooks for them.

The driver got headache with my driving skills. lol

We got the whole boat for the two of us, which was quite a waste I thought. The driver was also accompanied by a kiddo who kept a sweet smile throughout the whole journey and kindly offered explanations.

Anyway, got quite pissed off when we were approaching the end, they would turn to you and ask for tips. I thought tips were optional, instead of a must.

Next, we started the much excited and waited Angkor Tour!
Angkor is actually a big big huge area containing over 294 temples from the ancient world, some nearly 1000 years ago, and Angkor Wat is just one of them, the grandest of all.

the three day pass for The Angkor.

Fish Amok! One of the famous Cambodia cuisines.

Seafood salad.

"OMG too much of rice!"

us at Banteay Srey.

Bakheng Mountain

Were actually scheduled to enjoy the sunset here at the mountain, and everything looked compromising until 5.30 in the evening, which is 30mins before the sunset. RAIN POUR. all soaked up.

cheap Angkor beer after dinner!

Penang culture shock

The main event for day two back home was bringing Agung, my Indonesian senior and family around Penang!

Fetched them for the airport and it's two consecutive days at the airport. No, I never like airport.

No, you're totally wrong if you thought I'm gonna introduce Penang to you. I'm just gonna write down some real funny culture shocks I get. Hahaha.

First thing first, Penangnites are really insane on the road that I get honked so many times even thought I though I did nothing wrong. Damn.

Had lunch at the food court New Wold Park. Then his father was trying to order Bak Kut Teh, I tried to help in Malay and Chinese, the went Agung came over we started talking in Japanese, and then that uncle spoke out in JAPANESE! Wtf. We were just sentences away from saying bad word about him. Hahaha. Chaos. We ordered so much, and had my first coconut of the day. Hahaha.

First time on the new cable car heading up Penang Hill. Damn fast I tell you compare to the old one. The tickets, RM8 for locals and RM 30 for foreigners! Watch the gap!

Tasted Old Town Coffee and they liked it. But the waiters gave me some pretty dirty joke while I was asking for road direction. Hahaha. Never knew Malays could be that open. lol

Was shopping for shoes and the shopkeeper also asked where exactly do we guys come from. After hearing so many languages. Hahaha.

And, how on earth all these early 20s manage to afford branded bags?! It wasn't like this back then!

Had seafood for dinner. Crap with salted egg. Fresh sashimi lobster was the main dish. 110 points. The boss again could speak Japanese. And I had my second coconut. Hahahaha.

Bought sugar-cane juice at one of the stalks at Gurney Drive, the aunty gave me a 50 cents change. It was gold in color! 'EHH?!' then she replied, 'this one new one lah!' another aunty beside laughed at me. Haha. Wtf.

On the way back, I used the normal route heading back home, until I came to a junction when I was trying to turn in, just to find that the whole road's been closed. Hahaha. Wth.

Nevertheless, had such an enjoyable time catching up with one of the best senior of mine, seeing experiencing new things which all turned into laughters.

Talking about dreams...

Wasn't really excited toward today's game.
I use to get really buzzed about going for a game like say 3 days before, go searching about the players, bla bla bla.

It was Jubilo Iwata vs Consadole Sapporo.

No, I don't really know or even heard about them.

Okay, I AM scouting for all Jubilo Iwata's home games, they're like in the top 3 teams in the Japan League.
But, no I'm none of their fans, not mentioning their players.

Consadole Sapporo who?!

Things turn out pretty good as the day goes.

Everyone who took the shuttle bus to the stadium got a free voucher of Sapporo Beer!

Lucky me I got there one and a half hour early and got to enjoy it nice and cold. Yes we weren't allowed to touch any alcohol during work, but yeah. Haha.

I got one really good sit by the pathway close to the pitch which was anther good thing I guess?

And the match was perhaps the best I've ever saw live. Okay it's just the 4th match but still lively opened game, which ended 4-1.

Okay, back to the main topic. Did I ever touched it yet? Haha.

Where do you find motivation excitements and all to keep you on going?

Worse case if you're working on something out of your interest something you don't love?

I'm watching a JLeague match but my mind was all about the Spurs' Family Day. Yeah its all about Tottenham Hotspur when it comes to football. I was basically yawning through the whole match. Not saying it was boring but I wasn't really interested cause I wasn't really supporting either one. Give me Spurs, I wouldn't take my eyes off the pitch for the whole 90mins.

No I'm totally not grumbling. It's easily the coolest part time job ever. It's just that I hope to get like you know, like Nagoya Grampus or Gamba Osaka. Hehe.

Crap I know. Hahaha.

I guess people like me must try my very hard hunting for the thing I love the thing I'm really passionate about

Something wakes me up before the alarm does.

(like the launching of the Spurs' new kit! Should I buy one?)

it's MY PARKER in the center!!!

But the thing is, the more I'm assure of it, I tend to think a lot, things get complicated? Oh damn. What a crap from me. Hahaha.
